We are chain-free for all vehicles today, but please beware of frost on the lower half of the road. ‘Turn left’ is back for winter - all vehicles must turn left onto the highway when departing. Traffic heading for Frankton & Queenstown then turn at the roundabout 1km down the road, a detour of 2mins for everybody’s safety. Please note our road is in an alpine environment which can change quickly. All drivers should carry chains and know how to fit them (please see our chain-fitting video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9rKZ_86A4I&t=1s).

Morning Team, Today is looking like a proper bluebird day, with clear skies expected and little to no wind — a perfect day to get up the mountain. Sugar Chair is open for the first time this season! Please note only Crossfall trail will be open. This is for blue/intermediate riders. For anyone new to skiing or snowboarding, today is also a great day to come on up and give it a go. With the sun out, calm conditions, and lessons available, it’s a perfect chance for first-timers to learn how to ski or board!!! Come have a go! All guests must have a current photo on their MyPass account. You can upload one online or pop into Guest Services when you arrive on the mountain.
